If your line still relies on a standalone scale, a separate label printer, and a person hand-applying price labels, every one of those handoffs is a place where weight errors, price mismatches, and mislabeled packs can creep in — and every one of those stations takes floor space and headcount you could put elsewhere. The YCT-WPL Automatic Weighing, Printing & Labeling Machine replaces all three with a single automated pass: products move across the conveyor, a high-precision load cell captures the weight in motion, the system instantly calculates price and generates a label with weight, unit price, total price, barcode, and QR code, and a pneumatic suction head applies that label to the product — a closed-loop "weigh one, print one, label one" process with no manual intervention.
This makes the YCT-WPL a practical automation upgrade for any pre-packaged operation that currently weighs and labels by hand, and a natural fit for cold chain fresh food, fruit and vegetable packing, prepared meals, snack foods, and other weight-based pricing lines.

Three stations become one. A standalone scale, a label printer, and a manual labeling operator are replaced by a single automated unit — freeing up floor space and headcount while removing the weighing-to-labeling handoff where pricing errors and mislabels typically happen.
Dynamic in-motion weighing. The built-in high-precision load cell captures weight data as products pass through on the conveyor — no stop-and-weigh cycle, no manual placement on a static scale.
Real-time variable data printing. The thermal transfer print engine generates each label on demand with weight, unit price, total price, barcode, QR code, and product name pulled live from the product database — every label matches the actual product that triggered it, supporting traceability and retail/POS compatibility.
Two standard labeling configurations, built for real packaging. Top labeling suits tray boxes, vacuum bags, and other flat-top packaging; bottom labeling suits transparent boxes and shallow trays with no product height limit. Side and corner labeling can be custom-configured for specific production line layouts.
Food-grade construction. The machine body and conveyor belt are built entirely from 304 stainless steel and food-grade PU belting, combining corrosion resistance and easy cleandown with the hygiene standards food processing workshops require.
Built-in fault protection. A tri-color tower light shows live running status (green = normal, yellow = warning, red = fault), while missing-label, broken-label, and abnormal air pressure conditions trigger automatic alarms and shutdown — protecting product and line uptime without requiring constant operator supervision.
Room to add traceability later. A reserved coding port supports an optional hot stamping coder for simultaneous production date and batch number printing, so the same machine can grow into full labeling-plus-coding as your compliance needs evolve.
- Cold chain fresh food — weight-based pricing and labeling for fresh meat, poultry, and seafood
- Fruits and vegetables — pre-packaged weighing and price label application for bulk produce
- Prepared dishes — weight identification and traceability labels for ready-to-eat meals and semi-finished products
- Snack foods — quantitative packaging and labeling for nuts, dried fruits, and other bulk foods
- Pharmaceuticals and health products — individual identification for weight-based herbs and supplements
- Daily chemicals — filling and labeling for weight-sold personal care products
- Hardware parts — weight-based packaging and identification for screws, fittings, and other bulk parts
1. Packaging — Products are packaged upstream and enter the conveyor belt.
2. Weighing — The dynamic load cell captures real-time weight data as products pass through, accurate to ±2g.
3. Data Transmission — Weight data is instantly uploaded to the control system.
4. Data Reading — The system matches product information in the database and automatically generates label content.
5. Printing & Labeling — The thermal transfer engine prints the label in real time, and the pneumatic suction head automatically applies it to the product surface.
The control system runs on an industrial PC and touchscreen HMI dual-screen setup — the PC manages product data, label templates, and production reports, while the touchscreen handles day-to-day operation, parameter changes, and fault diagnosis, with switchable Chinese/English interfaces.
Every YCT-WPL machine is built on a 304 stainless steel frame with food-grade PU conveyor belting, backed by CE certification and ISO 9001:2015 quality management, with SGS/TÜV third-party inspection available on request. Our engineering team works directly with you on product size, labeling position, and production line integration — including side/corner labeling and upstream sorting or packaging line connections — so the machine matches your actual line, not a generic spec sheet.

1. Why is the labeling speed only 20–30 packs/min when other labeling machines run at 100+ packs/min?
Speed here reflects the full weigh-print-label cycle, not labeling alone — the machine has to dynamically weigh each product, calculate price, and generate a fresh variable-data label before it can apply it, unlike pure labeling machines that apply pre-printed labels to known-weight products. This cycle time is standard for the weigh-price-labeler category: published speeds across the industry range roughly from 40 to 140 packs/min depending on product size, label complexity, and accuracy grade, with lower-throughput models common in the entry-to-mid automation tier this machine targets. If your line needs pure high-speed labeling without integrated weighing (i.e., your products already have a fixed, known price), our YCT-211 or YCT-217 round bottle labeling machines run at 80–120 packs/min instead.
2. Why is labeling accuracy ±10–20mm instead of ±1mm like your other labeling machines?
This machine is designed for top and bottom labeling on tray boxes, vacuum bags, and similar flat-surface packaging, where the label needs to land within the general labeling zone of a relatively large, flat surface — not on a tightly constrained target like a bottle's curved profile. This tolerance level is standard for weigh-price labeling on flat packaging. If your application needs tighter placement tolerance for smaller or curved products, let us know your packaging shape and we'll recommend the right configuration.
3. Can this machine calculate and print the price automatically, or do I need to enter it manually each time?
It's automatic. The system links the live weight reading to your product database and generates the label — including weight, unit price, and total price — without manual entry per pack. You set up product pricing and label templates in advance through the control system.
4. What label content can be printed?
The thermal transfer print engine supports weight, unit price, total price, product name, barcode, QR code, production date, batch number, and mixed Chinese-English text, compatible with common traceability and retail/POS systems.
5. Does this machine support both top and bottom labeling?
Yes, both are standard configurations. Top labeling suits tray boxes, vacuum bags, and rigid containers with a flat top surface. Bottom labeling suits transparent boxes and shallow trays and has no product height limit. Side and corner labeling can be arranged as custom configurations based on your production line.
6. Can a date/batch coder be added later?
Yes. The machine has a reserved coding port for an optional hot stamping coder that prints production date and batch number on the label in the same pass as labeling. If full print-and-apply date coding is your primary need rather than weight-based pricing, our YCT-CS3 real-time printing and labeling machine is built specifically around that function.
7. What product sizes and label sizes does this machine handle?
Product height range is 0–300mm (adjustable), with batch height variation up to 50mm; bottom labeling has no height limit. The weighing zone accommodates products up to 300mm (L) × 390mm (W). Label size range is 30–100mm in both width and length, with the suction head customized to your label dimensions.
8. What is the machine's weighing accuracy, and is it suitable for retail weight-based pricing compliance?
Weighing accuracy is ±2g, dynamically captured as the product moves through the weighing zone. If your market requires a specific legal-for-trade or metrology certification (such as NTEP or OIML) for retail pricing compliance, please confirm your local requirement with us before ordering so we can advise on suitability.
9. What industries and products is this machine suitable for?
Cold chain fresh food (meat, poultry, seafood), fruits and vegetables, prepared dishes and ready-to-eat meals, snack foods (nuts, dried fruits), pharmaceuticals and health products sold by weight, weight-sold daily chemicals, and bulk hardware parts. If your product doesn't fit these categories, tell us your product type and packaging format and we'll confirm feasibility.
10. Can this machine be integrated into an existing production line?
Yes. The infeed and outfeed conveyors are designed to connect with upstream packaging stations and downstream sorting or packaging lines for full production line integration. Share your line layout and speed requirements and our engineers will confirm compatibility.
