Labeling small, flat pharmaceutical products by hand is one of those production bottlenecks that teams learn to live with — until they don't have to anymore. This is a common situation in pharmaceutical and nutraceutical packaging. Small-format labels on flat or semi-flat surfaces are genuinely difficult to automate with general-purpose equipment — the label has to be applied cleanly, at the right position, every single time, across hundreds of vials per shift.

The Approach: Test First, Then Confirm

Rather than sending a proposal based on the video alone, we took a more direct route. We sourced the same oral liquid product from a local supplier, brought it to our facility in Dongguan, and ran it through the YCT-30 Automatic Plane Labeling Machine.

The test was straightforward: load six vials in a row, run them through the conveyor, and see how the machine handled the label application across a full production sequence.
